I  couldn't help falling for Gareth even if he was Brad Manon’s brother and hadn’t told Cynthia.  Cynthia discloses the information  she discovered connecting Gareth with Brad to the police. Gareth really loved Cynthia as he shows in this book, and it wasn't just the men who are strong. I really loved these books because the women are strong and capable as well.  Also the  love and affection between them, as they stick together. We see more of the couples as they get together to try to figure things out. In this episode, it reminds me of an episode of murder mystery where the more you know the more confused you get. We see a lot of the Laurel and Grace helping Cynthia to keep sane and supporting each other. This has been a great trio of books, and I admit I did not guess who the killer is. Just that this was a worthy action packed finale. That’s all for now.

I'm going to repeat what I said at the start of the review for book 2 in this series.  Please read the previous books before starting this.  You really don't have a chance of untangling all the machinations, character intersections and potential suspects if you come to this book blind. I will admit, that I had a number of suspects in mind.  And I kept changing my ideas about whodunnit as the story unfolded.  I won't give away the identity of the villain of the piece, but what I will say is that m I'm going to repeat what I said at the start of the review for book 2 in this series.  Please read the previous books before starting this.  You really don't have a chance of untangling all the machinations, character intersections and potential suspects if you come to this book blind. Very wrong. This entire series has been about misdirection and tension underpinning a complementary romance arc.  They work well together.  The author has woven each so that the couple's spotlight piece works well as a standalone, but also ties into the overall plot. This was, for me, a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

This is the last book in the Office Roulette Series and what a doozy it was. Reading this series, especially this last book was like a game of Clue for me. Who did it, in what room (okay, well that we know) and with what...the office stapler, no actually we know that too, but we have no idea who or why and the chase of learning those two things is thrilling. I liked that this book while a romance and yes, there was plenty of it in there, isn't so much about the actual relationship. I liked that this book while a romance and yes, there was plenty of it in there, isn't so much about the actual relationship. This couple starts off a bit rocky but quickly come to terms with their feelings and needs, leaving the rest of the book open to solving the mystery that has been weighing on our minds for the past two books. With saying that let me say, you HAVE to read the 2 books prior to this one to have any understanding of what is going on in this book, particularly since the romance is a secondary story line to the mystery. What I can totally say about this book, is the outcome we got is not the one that I expected at all. I mean I had some ideas but I was totally shocked when it all came out. I mean, wow! I feel like Kennedy Layne played my suspense strings like she was a violin virtuoso, ha. I love a book that is able to keep me guessing the whole way though and then still shock me in the end. It made me want to laugh out loud because 'OH MY GOD, WHAT? OF COURSE!' I am kind sad to leave these characters behind because they feel like they could be a long running TV show, a mix between Friends, Murder She Wrote, and Matlock in a long running book series, lol. They're the kind of characters you are thrilled to see get their HEA but never want to let go. I had a great time reading this series and if you are fan of romantic suspense this should be a must read on your TBR. ~ HAPPY READING ~

Opportunity by Kennedy Layne “The final installment of the Office Roulette series, 5 stars” Well that time has come folks, if you’ve followed the Office Roulette series then you finally find out who the killer is. And let me tell you, your in for a surprise. I didn’t see the killer coming right up until the end when all the pieces finally clicked. Layne has a way with suspense and keeping us on our toes until the very end. I will be 100% honest, I didn’t want to like Cynthia. From what I had gathered of her she was closed off and maybe even a little cold. But with Gareth she lights up. Unfortunately for her she’s in the middle of her boss’s murder mystery. Cynthia is like a dog with a bone and cannot let it go until she has answers. When some truths about her boyfriend and her dead boss come to light she doesn’t know what to do. Gareth really didn’t have feelings about what happened to Cynthia’s boss. He’s more or less worried about her somehow falling into the killer’s crosshairs. He will do whatever it takes to keep her safe. When Cynthia learns of the secret between Brad and him he knows he can sway her back to his side. Its only a small road bump. Then the real bump hits. When he sees their lives together flash before his eyes. Will he get his happily ever after with the only woman he’s ever loved, or will he lose her to a killer? Cynthia’s boss has been murdered and everyone is a suspect. She is the compliance officer for Manon Investments and she has been involved in a relationship for the last eight months with Garrett. The one caveat to their relationship was honesty so when she catches him in a lie of omission she is ready to call it quits. Gareth knows he has made a mistake and he is willing to show her that he can be trusted. The suspense and intrigue continues with the killer being a twist I did not see coming. Opportunity is the final installment in the Office Roulette series and we finally get to know who is the killer and their motive. I didn't see that revelation coming to be honest. I would have never guessed the identity of the killer and why he did it. I may not the series as much as I love the "Keys to love", but the end won me over. The romance was good though and I liked the two main characters. As the story goes on, we get more info on their past and how they ended up in the place they are now. For a short story, this installment had a lot of things going on and I was satisfied with the ending result since there wasn't a question left unanswered. Now that I have finished the three books and know the full story, I can recommend the series since it was a nice journey and it was a good mix of romance and mystery.

I've been on the edge of my seat for the conclusion of the series. Cynthia Ellsworth is the compliance officer for Manon Investments. Everyone around her is suspicious of who killed her boss. She decides that she should end her relationship with a client, Gareth Nicolett. Gareth knows that Cyn is the one for him. After finding making her realize what they have, they try to move on. Will they be able to before the killer puts their lives in jeopardy? Kennedy keeps you guessing until the very end! I've been on the edge of my seat for the conclusion of the series. The final book in the Office Roulette series focuses on the relationship between Cynthia Ellsworth, the compliance officer for Manon Investments and Gareth Nicollet, a client. Another secret relationship comes out we still seek answers in the death of Brad Manon. Layne keeps the mystery going right up until the end when the killer is revealed to be someone we would least expect. We get great romance along with mystery and intrigue in this final book.

This is the final book in the office romance-filled mystery. The story is heart felt between friends and lovers. Kennedy Layne outdid herself with the conclusion. You won’t see it coming. Go ahead and binge read this trilogy. You won’t regret it!
